“Sometimes trees can look healthy on the outside, but actually be dying inside. These trees fall unexpectedly during a storm.”

Nothing—Robin Friedman (via mermerteddybear)

mermerteddybear:

A friend of mine came up with the idea to start a new blog promoting love and acceptance, particularly of oneself, after learning about the prevalence of eating disorders, depression, and self-harm among adolescents and young adults. It will most likely have quotes and suggestions, our thoughts and maybe our stories, and hopefully, your thoughts, suggestions, stories, fears, dreams, questions, whatever.

We have each been through our own struggles. I know I personally felt lost and isolated when I was going through things, but then I met an amazing group of people who accepted me, sympathized and empathized with me, and it made the all the difference. Knowing I was not truly alone made all the difference.

We would love to have your support in spreading the message of loving yourself throughout the world.

Please follow, share your stories, and ask your questions. Thank you.

New blog

mermerteddybear:

I added a new page about love, especially loving oneself and LGBTQ love, because I don’t want to spam my real-life friends, who follow this, my personal blog, with LGBTQ stuff they may not care about. So, this blog will be an outlet for me, featuring posts on love in general and lots of things LGBTQ-related. It has an actual theme to it.
